Home is where the art is
Our dining room walls are furnished with original pieces by British artist, Margaret Loxton. Born in 1938, Margaret spent her working life as a farm-worker, which inspired her depictions of fishermen, farmers and vineyard workers. Having travelled throughout France, she is renowned for her French-influenced paintings.
Our conservatory is dressed with colourful original pieces from British / Caribbean artist Janet Brock. With pieces hung in the White House to London's Saatchi Gallery, her work is internationally celebrated. Her paintings are full of confident brushstrokes and resonate with life, sensuality, and humour.
We have an exclusive collection of fine art dating back centuries adorning the walls of our main lounge to include ‘The Football Play’ an Oil on canvas by Alexander Carse c.1830.
