How long can I provisionally hold a date for?

Due to our popularity bookings are made when a deposit is in place. During the popular months we highly recommend securing your preferred date to avoid any disappointment. Once your deposit of £1,500 has been paid its yours – let’s get planning!

Can we hire the venue for more than one day?

Yes! A day, a weekend or a week – you choose.

When is the final payment due?

We kindly request all monies due are paid four weeks prior to your wedding day.

Is Vat included in the prices given?

Yes – nothing is hidden.

How many guests can you accommodate for our day?

Our grand Georgian Orangery accommodates up to 190-day guests for you to relax and eat well, with space for more in the evening. There are a variety of spaces both indoors and out if you are looking for something a little more intimate.

Is the venue licensed for civil ceremonies?

Yes! Indoors or out – there are a selection of intimate spaces available

Do you have accommodation on-site?

There is a variety of accommodation for your enjoyment - A Treehouse, a Playhouse and a Shed plus 32 en-suite bedrooms. Yurts add another option. You choose!

Are there areas for both of us to get ready in the morning?

A tasteful and spacious playhouse for the girls For the boys a shed…kitted out with tech and toys Why not stay the night before?

Are there any décor restrictions?

Make the house your home with your own cheerful style. Be mindful – no naked flames.

How flexible are the timings of the day?

We are a place where impeccable hospitality knows no bounds. We are simply here to advise.

Who will be my point of contact in the lead-up to the wedding?

Sophie, Kate & Beth are all here to help you imagine your wedding in a whole new way.

Are fireworks/confetti allowed?

Yes! For fireworks we had a fantastic supplier who can finish your celebrations with a bang! We welcome confetti but only the natural kind.

Do I have to use your recommended suppliers?

No, you choose – we are simply here to recommend all the best components of a great wedding.

Are crockery, linen and glassware included in the price?

Yes! You won’t go without.

Do you allow corkage?

Yes, corkage can be arranged – however, why not check out our incredible wine selection first?

Can we create our own menu?

Yes, food is at the heart of our country house. Our kitchen team are passionate about creating and serving plates of memorable, mouth-watering cuisine. There’s always something for everyone!
