Festive and Christmas Weddings at Deer Park
Beautiful winter greens, the scent of pine and eucalyptus, and wood smoke from the lounge fires set the scene for a Christmas wedding at Deer Park. Throughout winter, our resident florist dresses the house each week with flowers and foliage grown on the estate. From mid-November, our Christmas décor is in place, with Christmas trees, fireplace garlands and a palette of gold, white and silver.
Private viewings are open for winter weddings.
Beyond the windows, the eighty-acre Devon estate turns to bare trees and low winter light. With exclusive use, the house and grounds are held for a single wedding, and the day runs to your own pace from the first arrival to the last glass.
The candlelit wedding breakfast
The wedding breakfast is served by candlelight in the Georgian Orangery. Our three winter menus begin at £120 per person, featuring dishes such as Devon Blue tart, Creedy Carver duck and sticky ginger pudding, and a welcome of glass of Sparkling or Deer Park mulled & spiced cider.
By the fire
After dinner, guests are invited to the lounge for a Fireside Martini as part of the package. The house is heated throughout, so the celebration stays warm for as long as it runs.
Your own touches
The house is dressed for the season. Flowers for the wedding itself, from the wedding breakfast tables to bouquets and buttonholes, are arranged by your own florist. Couples are also welcome to add personal touches to the rooms.
Staying the night
Fourteen bedrooms in the house and seventeen garden rooms keep your guests on the estate overnight. The Playhouse sleeping six and the Shed sleeping eight can be booked for the night before, offering self-catering spaces to enjoy and get ready ahead of the wedding day. The Tree House is reserved as a private suite for the couple.

Weddings can be held throughout December, apart from the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st December and 1st January. The Autumn and Winter Exclusive Use Package is £10,000 for up to 70 guests, Sunday to Thursday, from October to March.

No. The Christmas décor is in place from mid-November, and the estate foliage and the candles for a candlelit wedding breakfast are part of the day. Couples are welcome to add their own touches and bring their own florist.
